1. The one thing about winning is I think it needs to be against viable competition. The US Women's soccer team is number 2 in the world, but they just finished their SheBelieves Cup where they pummeled mid-table competition (to the delight of the American crowd). Being here and not Europe, they rarely face the strong top-level clubs on regular basis. I think they might be getting a winner effect but setting themselves up to lose in the next World Cup.
