NPR recently wrote at hit piece on the NoFap movement.
In case you don’t know, “NoFap” is a slice of the internet where men recommend and support each other in abstaining from PMO— porn, masturbation, and orgasm— mainly in response to the addictive and damaging nature of streamable internet pron.
This piece got my riled up, not because I want or need to defend NoFap (I have my criticisms of it as well), but because embedded in the article are manipulative tactics normalizing male docility.
In other words, it’s another bit of propaganda to keep grown men as boys.
